BWWC Membership

We welcome employers from all industries, of all sizes, to become members of our community of innovative employers by signing the 100% Talent Compact. Signing the Compact demonstrates your organization’s commitment to gender and racial equity in Greater Boston to employees, recruits, investors, and the community at large. You will find a network of like-minded professionals eager to learn from each other about effective ways to reach pay equity and create a culture of inclusion.

The Compact

In a city where women make up more than half of the residents and half of the workforce, pay equity is not only the right thing to do, it is the smart thing to do. In partnership with the Mayor of Boston, the BWWC implements the 100% Talent Compact, a first-in-the-nation approach to reaching gender and racial pay equity.

To this day, over 250 Boston-area employers have signed the Compact and pledged to close gender and racial wage gaps in Greater Boston. Our Compact Signers are actively committed to examining their own salary data and practices and making changes where needed.

The Compact Seal

Over 250 employers have taken the pledge and are actively committed to making changes in their own organizations.

The seal is a symbol of this pledge and commitment to gender and racial equity.

Our seal represents our Signers’ commitment to learning and reflection, refining policies and practices, and taking action to eliminate gender and racial wage gaps. It demonstrates their dedication to ensuring their workplaces are equitable and their employees are supported. It isn’t just about specific organizations and the work they are doing in their businesses. It is also about the work that over 250 organizations are doing to create a more equitable workforce in Greater Boston.

Compact Signer Commitment

Signer Dues

The BWWC collects annual Signer dues to fund our wage gap measurement and analysis, as well as Compact Signer programming. It is our only form of funding. Signer dues levels are structured by size of the organization in Greater Boston. Employers also have the option of becoming an Anchor Signer.

Our Anchor Signers extend their financial commitment to our shared goals and receive:

  • Spotlights in our programs at events

  • Invitations to smaller meetings with the Mayor of Boston and other City Hall dignitaries

  • Input on our biennial data collection reportings

  • Promotion of their efforts to close gender and racial wage gaps in
our social media and press efforts.
