Stephen Denny
Mr. Denny is Head of Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, for Putnam Investments. He partners with and provides generalist support to the Technology and Finance divisions, including hiring and counseling management on all facets of employee engagement and development. Mr. Denny is also responsible for leading the Human Resources Information Management Systems and Operations teams, which operate at the intersection between Human Resources Management and Human Resources Information Technology. The team manages the centralized repository for associate data while maintaining security and privacy.
In addition, Mr. Denny manages all aspects of the firm’s diversity strategy, focusing on integrating diversity into every aspect of the business — including the workforce, customers, suppliers, products, and services — to improve company policies, employment value propositions, corporate reputation, products, and the overall customer and stakeholder experience. Previously at Putnam, he held numerous positions in the Service Organization, leading teams that provided support to high-profile brokers and financial advisors. Mr. Denny has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 1994.
