Kevin Bell AIA, Associate Principal, Leers Weinzapfel Associates

 

Kevin has been with Leers Weinzapfel Associates for 16 years; recently elevated to Associate Principal. He is intensely interested in crafting well-made, sustainable, and long-lasting space and place and has managed academic and community projects in Boston, New England, and further afield.

Kevin leads his firm’s technology integration process, helping to guide the studio’s digital direction. He shares his passion for technology and building through writing, presentations, project tours, and workshops, most recently discussing advanced glazing as part of Architecture Record’s webinar series.

He is passionate about fairness within the firm, advocating for tools, resources, and space that supports equity and promotes the success of each valuable member of the firm. He brought Leers Weinzapfel Associates to the BWWC in 2018 to connect the firm to local efforts that mirror the firm’s own goals for pay equity.
