Black History Month Resources
Black History Month serves as a time to celebrate the accomplishments of Black Americans. We are grateful for Black leaders within our Compact Signer network and beyond who contribute to and uplift DEI efforts that are essential to combating workplace inequities.
According to BWWC 2021 Wage Gap Data, Black/African American men and women experience some of the largest wage gaps in Greater Boston. These wage gaps have a lasting impact on Black employees throughout their lives and careers, affecting their ability to fully participate in the economy, accumulate wealth, and access to opportunities. Efforts to close gender and racial wage gaps play a key role in the larger movement toward racial equity.
