Chief Marketing Officer, Suffolk Construction

Katy O’Neil is Chief Marketing Officer for Suffolk Construction. In this role, she is responsible for setting the strategy for new business acquisition and managing a team of business development professionals for the Northeast. Ms. O’Neil joined Suffolk in May 2018. After one year at Suffolk, her role was expanded to include national management of the Pursuit Management department, a team across all offices responsible for the development of proposals and interview strategy.

Prior to joining Suffolk, Ms. O’Neil was Executive Vice President for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, one of the region’s leading business associations. In this role, Ms. O’Neil had overall responsibility for programs and events, member retention, and business development, for this 1,500 member organization.

A graduate of the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson, Ms. O’Neil holds a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College. Ms. O’Neil is active on local boards and non-profits. She is the former Chair of the Board of the Massachusetts March of Dimes, Member of Mayor Walsh’s Women’s Workforce Council, Member of the Board of The New England Council, Member of the Board of NAIOP and Board Member for The Commonwealth Institute. She lives in Duxbury, Massachusetts, with her husband and their three children.
