Resources for Latina’s Equal Pay Day 2022
December 8th is Latina's Equal Pay Day, and according to national census data, Latinas earn 57 cents on the dollar compared to white, non-Hispanic, men.
The BWWC 2021 Wage Gap Measurement Report, coming directly from Greater Boston employer payroll systems, shows a more significant gap, with Latina workers earning 45 cents for every dollar a white man earns.
The BWWC and national data reveal that Latinas experience the largest gender wage gap, creating a disadvantage for Latina women in their ability to respond to pandemics, economic and environmental stressors, and other life situations that demand reliable access to resources.
