4th Annual Effective Practices Conference: Advancing Women to the C-Suite

Led by a call to action by our keynote speaker, Mayor Walsh, we covered a lot of ground at our 4th annual Effective Practices Conference earlier this month. From the importance of male allies to the gratitude we have for all of the change we are making together, the room was filled with a lot of energy and engaging roundtable discussions. Check out our highlights below:

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Employers had great conversations on how to advance women in the workplace. The room was engaged, encouraged, and energized to take their learnings back to their own workplaces.

In summary, some key takeaways:

  • Women are not being promoted to leadership/senior roles enough, but when they are, they add a wider perspective and can see holistic risks;

  • Since signing the 100% Talent compact, some companies have seen an increase in diversity;

  • Having an impact as early as possible in women’s careers is critical.
